DEiLUSIA's songs explore dark places filled with the pain of abandonment, disease, suicide and love.  Underneath the darkness of their music, there is always an energetic undercurrent of optimism that grabs attention and maintains a groove.  The insightful lyrics are like water: powerful and dynamic.

Strictly through word of mouth, the band sold over 900 copies of their first full-length album, titled "Mourning Star", in a matter of two months. During this time, DEiLUSIA became the most requested local band on the KSJO radio show "Home Grown" and their first single "Dried Out" was one of the most downloaded songs on mp3.com.
